Bristol, TN - March 21, 2025: The 2025 Formula Drift Pro-Am licensing series with East10 Drift roared to life this past weekend—and Michigan Motorsports driver Nicholas Abbott came out swinging. Behind the wheel of his finely tuned machine—powered in part by a Michigan Motorsports Drift Camshaft—Abbott delivered a dominant performance, landing 3rd place in Round 1 and climbing even higher to 2nd place in Round 2.

That puts him in a tight battle for the championship, tied for 3rd overall heading into the next rounds.

Consistency + Confidence = Podiums

With a large field of drivers chasing points and podiums, Nicholas brought precision and control to every run. His car ran flawlessly throughout the weekend—requiring nothing more than fuel, tires, and pure skill.

The car was perfect all weekend—only needed gas and tires,” Abbott said. “I couldn’t ask for a better start to the year.

That consistency is powered by smart setup choices, including the Michigan Motorsports Drift Camshaft, which delivers the kind of mid-range torque and throttle response that’s made for tight tandems and aggressive transitions.

A Podium-Worthy Setup

Nicholas didn’t just represent the brand—he showcased it. Running our Drift-spec camshaft, his car responded with the kind of power delivery that gives you total control mid-drift and makes transitions effortless.

Backed by Michigan Motorsports, Nicholas proved that power and reliability don’t have to be a tradeoff. With his car dialed in and his driving on point, he made his way through each battle with confidence—and it paid off.
