The Stage 4 grind has made a name for itself not only in the truck world, but in the street car market as well. This camshaft is suited for the consumer that wants maximum peak power, and isn't looking to use their truck as a work horse in the towing department. The grind moves the powerband upstream, so bottom end torque will not be ideal for the every day tow vehicle. It has the distinct 'lope' that many are looking for when sitting at a stoplight! A 2800-3200rpm stall converter is recommended.
Our kit options take the guesswork out and include the following:
Camshaft only: BTR Stage 4 Truck Camshaft by itself.
Camshaft, Springs and Hat Seals: BTR Stage 4 Truck Cam, high quality beehive springs, OEM style hat valve seals.
Camshaft, Springs, Hat Seals and Pushrods: BTR Stage 4 Truck Cam, beehive springs, hat seals and 7.400" long, 5/16" Chromoly Pushrods with .080" wall thickness.
Gasket kit: Includes Timing cover gasket, water pump gaskets, front crankshaft seal and new damper bolt
Note:
- DOD/AFM equipped engines will require a conversion to conventional lifters
- VVT engines will require a VVT delete kit
- If installing in an engine originally equipped with a 1-bolt camshaft, a 3 bolt conversion kit will be required
- Due to their heavier valve weight, a dual valve spring kit or PAC 1218 (or similar) springs are recommended for 6.2L engines and 2007-later rectangle port 6.0L engines.

Still on a stock converter wouldn’t recommend it but trucks preforms amazing top end have a full n/a street truck build was making 432 to the wheels on a chopacobra cam full fbo setup idk what the power is now but it feels close to 500 wheel Next step is a converter but for best performance top end and a crazy chop this is it!
