Brian Tooley Racing's V2 version of their popular Stage 4 LS1 Camshaft has been refined to offer even more power and torque than the original version, while still delivering the reliability and value you've come to expect from BTR. This camshaft has a very aggressive idle and lets others know you're packing something serious under the hood of your daily driver or weekend warrior. These new BTR lobe designs were Spintron, and Engine Dyno tested to achieve the highest overall power curve while also maintaining strict valvetrain stability and durability standards.
The Stage 4 sacrifices some low rpm torque comparted to their other offerings but shines in the horsepower department up in the higher rpm range. It is possible to see over 500whp with proper supporting mods, including a quality set of cylinder heads, high flowing intake and throttle body, headers, and good flowing exhaust system.
ANY cylinder head milling with the use of factory pistons requires you to fly cut the valve pockets and check piston to valve clearance!
Automatic transmission vehicles will require a 3200+rpm stall torque converter.

Spring Kit With Steel Retainers and Pushrods: BTR Stage 4 cam, BTR Platinum .660" Dual Spring kit with Steel Retainers, Valve Seals, and 7.400" Length 5/16" Chromoly Pushrods
Spring Kit With Titanium Retainers and Pushrods: Includes the above, but with an upgrade from Steel to Titanium Retainers
Gasket kit: Includes Timing cover gasket, water pump gaskets, front crankshaft seal and new crankshaft balancer bolt
Note:
- DOD/AFM equipped engines will require a conversion to conventional lifters
- VVT engines will require a VVT delete kit
- If installing in an engine originally equipped with a 1-bolt camshaft, a 3 bolt conversion kit will be required
