Fits 1999-2013 GM LS Based Engines 4.8L 5.3L 6.0L 6.2L
Specs: 212/218 .553/.553" 111LSA, 3 Bolt Pattern
With great power gains throughout the entire RPM range and OEM driving characteristics, this camshaft works well with stock converters. With aftermarket exhaust you'll hear the cam lope at idle while driving smooth like a stock cam.
The Stage 2 grind is a popular choice for those looking to delete DOD/AFM, or just add some pep to your truck's step.
Our kit options take the guesswork out and include the following:
Camshaft only: BTR Stage 2 Truck Camshaft by itself.
Camshaft, Springs and Hat Seals: BTR Stage 2 Truck Cam, BTR beehive springs, OEM style hat valve seals.
Camshaft, Springs, Hat Seals and Pushrods: BTR Stage 2 Truck Cam, BTR beehive springs, hat seals and 7.400" long, 5/16" Chromoly Pushrods with .080" wall thickness.
Gasket kit: Includes Timing cover gasket, water pump gaskets, front crankshaft seal and new damper bolt
Note:
- DOD/AFM equipped engines will require a conversion to conventional lifters
- VVT engines will require a VVT delete kit
- If installing in an engine originally equipped with a 1-bolt camshaft, a 3 bolt conversion kit will be required
- Due to their heavier valve weight, a dual valve spring kit or PAC 1218 (or similar) springs are recommended for 6.2L engines and 2007-later rectangle port 6.0L engines.

This cam was the perfect choice for what I was looking for for my project. The idle isn’t crazy aggressive but it is enough to let you know it’s not stock. Good gains you can feel through the mid range and was easy to tune! This cam is the perfect choice for any truck or suv owner looking for a little more and not trying to upgrade everything else in the process
