Product Description
This V2 version of BTR's legendary Stage 1 LS3 camshaft makes more power and torque everywhere in the curve compared to the original design! These new BTR lobe designs were Spintron and Engine Dyno tested to achieve the highest overall power curve while also maintaining strict valvetrain stability and durability standards.
The LS3 is an excellent starting point for making great power. That means you hardly have to breathe on it to start making big power gains. The lobe design on this grind is custom tailored to give you and your valvetrain an easy ride, ideal for cars that are going to be gobbling up miles on the street. The Stage 1 cam has proven to make over 400whp and does not require an aftermarket torque converter in automatic applications. However, adding one will help unlock this cam's full potential.
Our kit options take the guesswork out and include:
Camshaft only: BTR LS3 Stage 1 camshaft by itself
Steel Retainer Spring Kit with Pushrods: BTR LS3 Stage 1 cam plus BTR Platinum .660" Dual Spring kit with Steel Retainers, Valve Seals, and 7.400" Chromoly Pushrods, 5/16" x .080" wall
Titanium Retainer Spring Kit with Pushrods: Includes the above, but with an upgrade from Steel to Titanium Retainers
Gasket kit: Includes Timing cover gasket, water pump gaskets, front crankshaft seal and new damper bolt
Please Note:
- DOD/AFM equipped engines will require a conversion to conventional lifters
- VVT engines will require a VVT delete kit
- If installing in an engine originally equipped with a 1-bolt camshaft, a 3 bolt conversion kit will be required
