Brian Tooley Racing's V2 PDS Stage 3 Torque camshaft was designed for those customers wanting good low to mid rpm range torque, without sacrificing top end horsepower. This cam has a slightly more aggressive idle than before, yet still provides good drivability. This cam works well with stock long blocks and stock or ported blowers, and also works well using up to a 150 shot of nitrous.
These new BTR lobe designs were Spintron and Engine Dyno tested to achieve the highest overall power curve while also maintaining strict valvetrain stability and durability standards.
Our kit options take the guesswork out and include:
Camshaft only: BTR PDS Stage 3 Torque camshaft by itself
Steel Retainer Spring Kit with Pushrods: BTR PDS Stage 3 Torque cam plus BTR Platinum .660" Dual Spring kit with Steel Retainers, Valve Seals, and 7.400" Chromoly Pushrods, 5/16" x .080" wall
Titanium Retainer Spring Kit with Pushrods: Includes the above, but with an upgrade from Steel to Titanium Retainers
Gasket kit: Includes Timing cover gasket, water pump gaskets, front crankshaft seal and new damper bolt
Note:
- VVT engines will require a VVT delete kit
- If installing in an engine originally equipped with a 1-bolt camshaft, a 3 bolt conversion kit will be required
- DOD/AFM equipped engines will require a conversion to conventional lifters
