Michigan Motorsports Stage 5 Cathedral Port Drift Camshaft
REQUIRES AFTERMARKET PISTONS WITH VALVE RELIEF!
Specs: 243/250 .629"/.615" 109 LSA
Turn tires and turn heads with Michigan Motorsports' new line of drift camshafts! Specifically developed to fulfill the needs of the growing drifting market, these camshafts combine strong powerbands with head-turning idle notes. This lineup has offerings to cover everything from daily drivers to full competition vehicles with large displacement strokers. Our optional spring and pushrod kit includes matching valvetrain components that provide reliability and strength for high RPM use. The lightweight Titanium Retainers combined with our .660" Dual Polished Springs provide excellent valve control while thick wall Chromoly pushrods provide stability.
The Michigan Motorsports Drift Series Camshafts are designed to meet the demanding needs of drifting by providing instant power to light the tires up and maintain that power throughout the RPM range.
The Stage 5 Cathedral provides a broad, street-friendly power band in 408-427" stroker engines, or can be used to make great high-RPM power in 364-383" engines. Aftermarket pistons with valve reliefs are required to take advantage of this powerful grind. With 28 degrees of overlap, this camshaft will have a very aggressive sounding idle even in 400+" engines.
Our kit options take the guesswork out and include:
Camshaft only: Michigan Motorsports Stage 5 Cathedral Drift Cam by itself
Cam with Titanium Retainer Spring Kit and Pushrods: MM Stage 5 Cathedral Drift Cam, plus Michigan Motorsports Polished .660" Dual Springs, Lightweight Titanium Retainers, Valve Seals w/ integrated spring locators, valve keeper locks, and 7.400" length x 5/16" diameter Chromoly Pushrods

Please note:

- If installing in an engine originally equipped with a 1-bolt camshaft, a 3 bolt conversion kit will be required
- The installation of aftermarket camshafts will require a non-DOD/AFM lifter conversion on engines equipped with DOD/AFM systems
