These NGK TR5GP G-Power Platinum spark plugs are a stock replacement heat range for most naturally aspirated LS car & truck engines. They feature a single platinum tip, 98% pure copper core and a .6mm fine-wire center electrode for more focused spark and better ignitability. This plug is not recommended for boosted, nitrous or high compression applications (see colder plugs such as the TR6, TR6GP or BR7EF for those applications).
- Factory Pre-gapped to .040"
- Cold-rolled threads prevent cross-threading and damage to cylinder heads
- Trivalent plating eliminates need for anti-seize on threads
- High-grade alumina silicate ceramic creates a stronger insulator to reduce dielectric punch-through
