Fits 1997-2013 LS-Based V8 Engines 4.8L 5.3L 5.7L 6.0L 6.2L
These NGK TR6 V-Power Nickel/Copper spark plugs are one heat range colder than the stock plugs for most LS car & truck engines. They feature a specially designed V-grooved center electrode, improving ignitability and reducing quenching. Copper core spark plugs are an economical alternative to exotic metal plugs in applications where extended service intervals are not required. This TR6GP plug is recommended for mild boost or high compression naturally aspirated setups.
- Factory Pre-gapped to .040"
- Cold-rolled threads prevent cross-threading and damage to cylinder heads
- Trivalent plating eliminates need for anti-seize on threads
- High-grade alumina silicate ceramic creates a stronger insulator to reduce dielectric punch-through
- 98% pure copper core increases heat dissipation for reliable starts and prevents spark plug overheating
- 90 degree V-Groove center electrode allows the spark to occur closer to the outside of both the center and ground electrodes for better flame expansion and improved ignitability
- NGK spark plugs are tested to the highest OEM original equipment standards
- 14mm Thread, .708" reach, 5/8" Hex
- Stock heat range plug for LS7, LS9, LSA engines. One step colder than stock heat range for all other LS engines.
