Great option for 4.8L and 5.3L engines that have been machined .040" or more, or for 5.7L/6.0L Engines
These 100% USA-cast and machined Precision Race Components cylinder heads feature high flowing 220cc "As-cast" intake runners for exceptional performance at a bargain price. This is one of the highest performing heads on the market for the smaller-bore engines. Extra-thick deck surfaces help alleviate head gasket sealing issues in power-adder applications. These heads have made well over 1,000hp on boosted 5.3's and are an excellent option for naturally aspirated and nitrous combinations as well. This cylinder head is a better flowing and stronger alternative to ported 243 and other factory cathedral port heads. This is the perfect option when wanting an aftermarket casting that will retain the use of existing components including the stock rocker arms. The 220cc heads can also be used on 5.7L and 6.0L engines with cathedral port intakes including the LS1 LS6 LS2 LQ4 LQ9.
*Due to the chamber size of these heads a 6.0/6.2L head gasket is required. We recommend LS9 gaskets for most applications*
