For use with OEM Connecting Rods and Crankshaft. Will not fit aftermarket rods/cranks.
King's MC-Series Rod Bearings are a new solution for the demand of superior service life and performance in modern engines. They were engineered in the wake of ongoing internal combustion engine development which has resulting in ever-decreasing minimum oil film thickness values, higher cylinder pressures, temperatures and loads.
The MC series was originally designed for "start/stop" engine technology, which produces more frequent mixed lubrication and metal-to-metal contact conditions. All MC bearings feature a nano-composite polymer coating providing the following benefits:
- Excellent anti-friction and wear resistance properties
- Polymer coating improves bearing compatibility
- High load capacity with superior seizure resistance
- Provides additional protection from oil starvation
