No Balancing Required when used with a Gen 4 Crankshaft
This forged JE piston and Texas Speed rod package is a direct drop-in for stock bore 5.3L LS engines and requires no balancing when used with a stock GM Gen 4 crankshaft! The Texas Speed H-Beam Rods are made using heat treated and stress relieved 4340 Steel and undergo a detailed machining process to ensure maximum strength and reliability. Each rod is torqued and re-torqued during the machining process. During manufacturing, rods are initially torqued and rough honed. The bolts are removed, and the rod & cap are then separated allowing the release of residual stress. The rods are then reassembled and re-torqued before final honing. This assures that the rod will stay round when installed in the engine. These Super H-Beam rods are rated for upwards of 900 flywheel HP. All TSP Rods include ARP L19 Rod bolts for maximum clamping force.
