Texas Speed L83 L84 Drop-In Forged Piston & Rod Set - No Balancing Required
Fits 2014-newer 5.3L L83 L84 Engines with stock crankshaft
*Once installed, oil squirter clearance must be checked and adjusted accordingly*
This forged SRP piston and Texas Speed rod package is a direct drop-in for 2014-newer stock bore 5.3L LT engines and requires no balancing when used with a stock GM crankshaft! The Texas Speed H-Beam Rods are made using heat treated and stress relieved 4340 Steel and undergo a detailed machining process to ensure maximum strength and reliability. Each rod is torqued and re-torqued during the machining process. During manufacturing, rods are initially torqued and rough honed. The bolts are removed, and the rod & cap are then separated allowing the release of residual stress. The rods are then reassembled and re-torqued before final honing. This assures that the rod will stay round when installed in the engine. These Super H-Beam rods are rated for upwards of 900 flywheel HP. All TSP Rods include ARP L19 Rod bolts for maximum clamping force.

- SRP by JE Forged Flat Top pistons with 6cc Direct injection dish/ Exhaust Valve Relief
- Texas Speed Super H-beam connecting rods with ARP Bolts
- Rod Bearings - sized for use with stock crankshaft
- JE Pro Seal file-fit Ring set
Note: Blocks utilizing piston oil squirters may require some clearancing.
