These ARP head studs are made of premium 8740 (190,000 psi tensile strength) material for a significant increase in clamping force compared to factory head bolts. They are cold-forged and heat treated prior to thread rolling to ensure molecular integrity. Kits come complete with hardened washers, 12 point nuts and assembly lubricant.
