The pTR Intake Manifold offers powerful tunnel ram architecture at an affordable price and a light weight. Glass reinforced nylon lower and Carbon Fiber upper shells combine for lightweight, strong and heat resistant performance. Offering unique modular velocity stacks enabling 6.5" to 9” runners, multiple accessory port and sensor options along with other custom features, this manifold is now offered for the Gen 5 LT1, L83(with upgraded throttle body) and L86 engines.
The plenum is constructed from molded nylon for a reduced cost alternative to the popular Carbon version of the pTR intakes. The same polymer lower runner pack resists heat soak from the heads and houses all ports/sensors underneath the valley for a clean look. The combination of materials offers a 10 pound weight savings over aluminum tunnel ram manifolds. Tuning of the intake runner length via optional velocity stacks enables matching the intake to your cam, head and exhaust combination, giving ultimate power curve optimization. Shorter runners support high RPM drag applications, while longer runners improve torque in the mid-range. These manifolds come from the factory with the longer velocity stacks installed for a 9" runner length which works great for most applications outside of ultra-high RPM racing use.
Add port injection to supplement or replace the Gen V LT’s direct injection with optional billet -8AN fuel rails. (sold separately)
