TSP's all new line of LS3 camshafts are the result of the latest round of engine dyno camshaft development using state-of-the-art Superflow 902 engine dyno. Using a brand new LS3 crate engine, TSP started from scratch to build the most powerful LS3 camshafts available in the country.
The 229/244 camshaft is a great mid-duration camshaft for power applications from 3000 RPM+.
This camshaft is an excellent choice for customers wanting more power than our 225/236 yet still wanting to retain street-ability.
Automatic-equipped vehicles will require a minimum stall speed torque converter of 3,000 RPM. We recommend this camshaft for LS3 or LS2 engines using L92/LS3 rectangle port cylinder heads!
The Spring Kit Includes: .660" Dual Spring Kit w/ PAC Racing Polished Springs, Titanium Retainers, Hardened Spring Seats, New Valve Stem Seals, and 7.400" Chromoly Pushrods,
The Gasket Kit Includes: Crank Bolt & Gaskets for Water Pump, Timing Cover, & Front Seal
Note:
- DOD/AFM equipped engines will require a conversion to conventional lifters
- VVT engines will require a VVT delete kit
- If installing in an engine originally equipped with a 1-bolt camshaft, a 3 bolt conversion kit will be required
